Churros with Chocolate Fudge


Ingredients for chocolate fudge:

  • 1/2 can MARIGOLD Sweetened Creamer

  • 100g unsalted butter, softened

  • 1/2 cup bittersweet chocolate

Ingredients for churros:

  • 100g water

  • 56g all-purpose flour

  • 50g unsalted butter

  • 1 egg

  • Cooking oil (For deep frying)

  • Salt to taste

Dusting for churros:

  • Icing sugar

  1. Add butter, water and salt in a pot, heat until butter melts.

  2. Add in flour and mix well until it forms a dough.

  3. Add in egg until it forms a smooth paste.

  4. Scoop the dough into piping bag with a star tip and pipe churros (approximately 7”) directly into the heated oil.

  5. Heat up oil in a pan for deep frying.

  6. Fry the churros for approximately 2 minutes per side until golden brown.

  7. Once fried, lightly dust icing sugar onto the churros.

Chocolate fudge

  1. Mix unsalted butter, bittersweet chocolate and MARIGOLD Sweetened Creamer in a double-boiler bowl.

  2. Stir all ingredients until melted and well mixed.

  3. Ready to serve with churros.

Chef's Tip:

Pipe churros on a baking tray lined with baking paper and freeze for a better shape.
